No reunification with Carrie: Mr. Big was removed from the series finale amid sexual harassment allegations. The actor was due to appear in a scene in which Carrie scatters his ashes, but the show’s team decided the footage wasn’t significant enough.

Actor Chris Noth has been removed from the finale of HBO Max’s sequel to Sex and the City, titled “And Just Like That” amid sexual harassment allegations, according to Variety.

Mr. Big, the character embodied by Noth, was reportedly due to reunite with Carrie in the last episode, which was due to air on February 3, but after facing sexual assault allegations, his scenes were removed.

Noth’s character was removed in the first episode of “And Just Like That” after he had a heart attack while practicing on Peloton.

Variety says the actor was due to appear in the final episode in a fantastic scene in which Carrie meets Big again on Paris’ Pont des Arts Bridge where she wanted to scatter his ashes.

The scene was supposed to show Carrie finally coming to terms with her husband’s death and Noth was also due to appear there, and he even filmed the scene on a Paris bridge.

Carrie and Big were previously photographed there while filming the aforementioned scenes, but the show’s creative team decided that the footage was not narratively significant enough to be included in the story.

Viewers saw Big die of a heart attack in the first episode, and a week later in an interview with Vogue, the actor announced his character’s return to the show.

Allegations of sexual harresment

Several women have come forward in recent weeks with allegations that Noth sexually harassed them. In December, the actor denied the accusations, saying they were false.

These stories could have been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago, but it doesn’t always mean no, and that’s a line I haven’t crossed. The meetings were consensual. It’s hard not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for sure why they’re showing up now, but I know this for sure – I didn’t attack these women,” Noth said.

But shortly after the allegations, CBS canceled Noth’s involvement in the crime series “The Equalizer.”

Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis released a joint statement expressing their sadness at the allegations against Noth and supporting the women who accused him.

In addition, a substitute actress of the series “Sex and the City” published a letter in The Independent medium in which she assured that Noth’s behavior on the set was “indecent” and “toxic” since he harassed the actresses and asked them to get into his dressing room.

The fifth woman who has accused Noth is the singer Lisa Gentile, who recalled at a press conference that in 2002 the actor forced her to have sexual relations and after her refusal began to kiss her and touch her breasts.

After the accusations, some netizens have rescued some court documents in which a restraining order was imposed between the actor and his ex-girlfriend, Beverly Johnson, who claimed that he had threatened to kill her and physically assaulted her in 1995.
