According to NME, the singer, due to being tested positive for coronavirus, joined the show "The Jonathan Ross Show" online, where one of the guests was one of the stars of the "Ted Lasso" series, Hannah Waddingham.

In the show,  Ed Sheeran, among other things, talked about how much he is a fan of the series.

"I am obsessed with the series. I recommend it to all friends who are also thrilled when they look at it. It is phenomenal," he said.

While talking about the music he is currently preparing, he pointed out that the producers asked him to write a soundtrack for the third season of "Ted Lasso".

Do it! Now that you have announced it publicly, you have to! ”, Waddingham interrupted him, to which Sheeran replied that he wanted to and that there was no need to convince him.

The theme song for the series was written by Marcus Mumford from the band "Mumford & Sons". Check it out down below.
