The couple started dating last Aug 2015. But have not appeared together since their movie started screening. They have since avoided questions on their relationship when appearing solo for publicity events.
Rumours are currently ongoing that the pair has already broken up. When asked for confirmation, Liu Yifei’s agent says that she is not able to comment and hung up.
So it seems their loving relationship was likely only for promoting their movie ‘The Third Way of Love’. It is something called a ‘movie release cycle love’.
