Jay Z gained 2.4 million followers on Instagram since Tuesday and deleted his profile

Rapper and producer Jay-Z, 51, first joined the social network Instagram on Tuesday night, and this morning the profile was gone. 

"Jay-Z created Instagram, then deleted it. And let it be!" commented fans on social networks.

Jay-Z gathered 2.4 million followers in a very short time, and he soon realized that this social network was not for him after all.

On Insta stories, he shared the countdown to the premiere of his new film ‘The Harder They Fall’, a Western which will be released on Netflix.

He only followed his wife Beyonce, who also followed only him. Now she is not following anyone again, while 217 million people are following her.

"The fact that they only follow each other is the sweetest thing ever! " wrote one of the fans.

Fan enthusiasm soon waned as soon as they realized Jay-Z had changed his mind about Instagram.
